Friday's highlights

Friday was another great day.
Reggie Dabbs was our morning speaker and he closed by playing his Sax for us.

Kendall Payne opened for us Friday night.

Then she broke out her guitar again and played that.David Crowder closed up Friday night, and if you have never been in one of his concerts...well lets just say you've never lived.Afterwards Matt found Crowder and got a picture.
Beyond that I don't even know what to say about this one. Then Stillmeadow Youth's Favorite Twins sang in a competition called "one audience" The winners of the competition will get to sing in front of everyone in a service before we leave. We won't find out the winners until later today. Youth's Favorite Twins

Thursday was an amazing day

Again I apologize that it is taking so long to get some of these new pictures up. So I'll hit you with a bunch at once here. I started uploading pictures Thursday night, and the battery died on the camera I was uploading pictures from, and there wasn't time Friday morning.

All day Thursday was amazing. God showed up in a powerful way during our worship time, through the music, dramas and the speakers. Pictures do not do justice to what happened here that day. Seeing 10,000 teenage young people flooding alters and just pouring themselves out to God was an amazing experience. All I can say is we serve an awesome God!!

Barlow Girl was our special music for Thursday.

Wed. morning we started our first full day at the actual NYC Event. We began our day by getting togeather and having church with our 10,000 nazarene friends from all across the US and Canada. We also began talking about Water (being soaked in God's Grace) the first of the three topics of the weekend.
I also need to let you know I have been experiencing camera troubles, so my photos from here on out my be largly dependent on the kids and other leaders to supply me with pictures. also each of the kids signed up for tracks, and so for most of the day our whole group is split up and I will not be seeing them to take pictures any way.

Family Force 5 rocked the house Wed. night

Tuesday afternoon we got to take part in the first part of a modern miracle. Each of our adults and Students who came on the trip brought 50 lbs of food with us to help feed 5,000 poor families in the St. Louis for a month.

Then Tuesday night we met for the first session of NYC 2007...

Where we were introduced to the theme of the weekend, (Water, Fire, Wind), jambed out with Toby Mac, and were led in worship by a band called Starfield.

10,000 Nazarenes worshiping together under one roof is a an experience that may only be rivaled in heaven.

Please pray the God continues to show up in a powerfull way this weekend, and touches our teens forever.

The Famous St. Louis Arch

Tuesday morning we got to go see the famous St. Louis Arch and take the tour to the top.

Abbey and Kirsten were so excited about the trip to the top of the arch they had to call someone...problem was they couldn't think of any one to call except each other.
Amazing what you can see when you are that high in the air. this is the Mississippi River.
Yes it runs through Missouri too.

Bush Stadium home of the 2006 World champion St. Louis Cardinals.

the building with the green roof is our hotel.
The Edward Jones dome (former home of the St. Louis Rams) is the home of NYC 2007

Our kids all made the trip to the top of the arch.

Even the ones who were a little uneasy about being that high off the ground.

"WOW!! Mom, Dad Look how high I am!!"--Mike

Baby Cadence does not seem at all nervous about the height of the arch.

Our shadow as seen from inside the arch.

For Abbey our return to the ground was like reaching the Promised Land. So because she couldn't find any Milk she decided to celebrate by drinking down her Honey.

M.A.D. ate lunch together under the arch.
